WHAT IS HEADWATERS?
Headwaters is an 8-week employment-readiness, skills training program designed specifically to support individuals whose mental health has been negatively impacted during the pandemic and who would benefit from social, emotional, and financial assistance as they prepare for employment.
Has your mental health been impacting your ability to find and keep work?
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
We know that employment plays a key role in mental health recovery, but we also know how challenging it can be to look for work while managing conditions such as anxiety and depression.
WE CAN HELP!
We’ve designed a program that prioritizes your mental health and supports your individual needs as you develop your path to employment readiness.
Headwaters focuses on:
- Self-Care Strategies
- Therapeutic Sessions
- Peer support
- Personal & professional development opportunities
Headwaters participants will also receive financial assistance while in the program, alleviating some of the external pressures that make recovery even more challenging. Financial assistance may include, but is not limited to:
- Living supports while in the program
- Transportation, childcare and clothing supports
- Program completion bonus
WHO CAN APPLY?
Individuals who are:
- Unemployed, underemployed or precariously employed
